Sanskrit Study Weekend — 24th and 25th NOVEMBER 2018
During the forthcoming Sanskrit Weekend at Brinscall Hall we will be studying The Eternal Way, a work attributed to the great spiritual teacher Śaṅkara. The text teaches a method to discover the real nature of one’s own eternal Self as being, consciousness and bliss. The days provide an opportunity to engage with this important text under the guidance of Warwick Jessup who, with his wife Elena, translated the work into English.
The Study Days will run from 9.30 am (9.00 am for refreshments), to 4 pm and the cost of £20 per day includes vegetarian lunch and all refreshments.
Public Lecture Saturday Evening
On Saturday evening, Mr Jessup will give a talk, open to all, about The Eternal Way , its content and the challenges of translating such a profound text from the original Sanskrit. The charge for the lecture is included in the fee for the Study Days. However, for students wishing to attend the talk only on Saturday evening, the charge is £10. The talk begins at 8.00 pm will be held at Brinscall Hall.
